The late Takenori Kikuchi founded the original firm, Kikuchi Manufacturing Company in
Nishi-ku, Osaka and started the manufacture of TIGER brand vacuum bottles.

The company joined with Japan Vacuum Flask Control Co., Ltd. due to World War II.

Kikuchi Manufacturing Company separated from the Japan Vacuum Flask Co.,Ltd. and started

Tiger constructed a new head office, a new factory and integrated mass production system
and started to produce rice warmers.

On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, the company name was changed to Tiger Vacuum
Bottle Co., Ltd. and introduced new corporate system including its new symbol mark, logo
and slogan. Tiger
constructed Tiger Vacuum Bottle Center where stainless steel vacuum bottles are
manufactured by means of fully automatic vacuumized system.
